I never knew I needed this, and now I can’t imagine a time before it was in my life.

It’s not for everyone (but that can be said about any show) but it’s HILARIOUS!!!! If you’ve seen any other shows from the studio that made Space Dandy (Michiko and Hachin, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo) then you’ll be familiar with how the episode storylines goes but its still a hilarious show that I highly…
Space Dandy is great, and worth the watch. The Dub came out the same day as the original Show, and is well done too.
It’s like the really over-the-top goofy parts of Cowboy Bebop mixed with the ridiculously varied alien life of Rick & Morty (the humor is nothing like R&M, just the crazy variety of weird and frequently gross alien life).
I’m going to reference my profession, just once, to contextualize what I’m going to say next: I have spent the last decade as a professor of Literature (and Rhet/Comp, but whatevz).
I say that to say this: Final Fantasy XV is by turns a brilliant, revelatory, and absolutely necessary change in direction for a franchise…
I suck so much at fighting game, but still try to pass through the MK campaign because I like the characters and the story!
It’s still unclear. The wording was strange. It’s possible the games are available to download for a month, like PS+ and GwG, or it could be that we are renting the games for a month, which would be a terrible move on Nintendo’s part.
Now I just want a new Virtua On.

Yeah, funny enough, that’s exactly how I hoped a conversation like that would go and for some reason it seems like Cho decided to twist it around on the podcast for comedic purposes. Maybe there’s more to it than this, but right now Cho looks very bad.
The combat is still extremely clunky. If you are anywhere with trees, you’re completely blind. Action is often far to frenetic to know what’s actually happening, but the tactical mode doesn’t engage quickly enough during fierce combat to let you suss it out unless you’re at a distance. Snapping is a chore, and the…
It really does grow on you. It takes a lot of faffing early game but then it clicks, which is good because early game is easy. It plays like a slightly simpler version of DMC. Also I love Wait Mode, it lets you essentially choose what to do next.
The combat is refined from the Episode Duscae demo, which was fun but kind of complicated and tough to get used to. That Platinum demo was incredibly stupid and just threw you into a boss battle without teaching you how anything worked. The final game’s combat makes much more sense and is actually taught to you.
Nothing wrong with the combat imo. But then again I didn’t grow up playing the old ones so the the “Kingdom Hearts” combat is actually better than turn based to me. My biggest issue with the combat in game is how enemies will just swarm Noctis. Would really like to see some kind of aggro system implemented instead of…
“Question to those playing the game: If one hated the combat in the demo, is there anything about the final game that is substantially improved about it?”
If you’re willing to download the Japanese language Judgement disc demo, you can play the first half chapter of the game. The combat there is identical to retail. The two demos don’t really represent well.
It ummm starts making sense and it grows on you... initially I was like “I don’t like this” and then I was like “am I missing something? why is this a thing” and now I’m like “🤔 I think I like this”
I hated the Platinum Demo (only demo I played) but I’m enjoying the main game.
