Perhaps it’s a difficulty issue.

That’s the Metroid action/exploration genre in general though. I get how that can be a turn off for some, but I love it. I can mentally sort of map the areas I know I’ll need to return to later when I gain new abilities

Later in the game that game became so dang hard for me (and I’m not too shabby at action games).

I’ll gladly pay for DLC for Smash but yeah... The best thing about Smash for Wii U was it’s huge (and great) roster. Dropping much from that is going to sting really badly
