Is this going to be an echo chamber for those who want to justify voter apathy? Because, more and more, that seems to be the angle Splinter is taking. And, yeah, that’s bad.
Hell, some folks went as far as to cite the voter suppression efforts happening to Native Americans as example of my white privilege, despite the facts that 1) I am not white and 2) I have written about Native-specific issue numerous times since joining Splinter three weeks ago.

Someone needs to tell these people that being a grownup means doing several dozen things a day that you aren’t necessarily thrilled about but need to be done.
To be fair, our educational system encourages this type of thinking, where there is one right answer and lots of wrong answers and the teacher will just tell you the right answer to memorize for the two thousandth test you are going to take that day.
What is so insulting is the stupidest, most corrupt, most blatantly evil people are in power and are working to make their positions of power unaccountable to justice and the rule of law.
