But how do we overcome the Tragedy of the Commons problem, that is, the risks of going on strike are very much higher unless almost everyone gets in? How do we solve that, in a country in which strikes have gone out of fashion?

I know what you’re saying, BUT teachers actually have a very direct relationship to immigrant rights - they are often on the front lines of protecting children who’s parents get deported.
Obviously you are the product of a poor education if you can’t understand how hosting and education are related.

Right and when I go to the hospital, I don’t have to worry about calling a taxi because the ambulance is to expensive. I don’t have to stress about the thousands of dollars of charges for basic, basic, healthcare.
A lot of us would pay higher taxes for those things. A lot of us would also advocate for a chunk of our current military budget to be allocated to those things.
You realise that in the Scandinavian countries and here in the UK there are a lot of people who still make a lot of money right? Canada has all those things and has comparable total tax rates to the USA.
