Personally I’m waiting with bated breath to see what sort of punishment MLS gives him.

Specifically, she went to SNHU-G.

They also cited legal Documents to tell the Monster in charge that after some Reckoning his tweet was Out of Time and he can shove it Up his ass. Something something Chronic Town something.

Honest answer: he’s an indie or alt-country artist (depending on which moment of his career you look at), so he’s always been a “critic’s artist” rather than someone who sold a shitload of records. People have had bigger hits covering him than he ever had with his own songs (covers of “When Stars Go Blue” by Tim

Yeah, I should give it another listen sometime.

It really is one hell of a song, right? Ymmv, but I didn’t really think the rest of her album measured up to it, but what the hell—plenty of great careers have been started with albums that had one brilliant song and then some other stuff.

Good call on Caitlin Cary, whose “Matrimony” was a particular highlight of the Whiskeytown catalog:

I had the same thought about that song when I read the article.

My God, and I didn’t think I could possibly enjoy anything more than watching Mahomes vs. Somebody’s Got a Case of the Keenums twice a year.

In an act of afternoon procrastination, decided to look up the albums that have won both the Album of the Year Grammy (so, basically, the industry choice) and the Village Voice Pazz and Jop poll (probably the closest thing to a critical consensus). They are:

I was stunned by that as well. The Pats stymied Mahomes in the first half of the AFC title game—and then the Chiefs put up 31 points in the second half in large part because they got the screen game going, which led to some big plays and also started to open things up down the field a bit. I know it’s not as easy as

I just need to know which candidate picks Waluigi, because I’m voting for whoever the hell picks Waluigi.

The moral of the story is don’t pay for good seats. Even if Chiefs security heard the things I had to say about Tom Brady from the 40th row of the upper deck, there’s no way in hell they were coming all the way up there to get me.

At an absolute minimum targeting should be reviewable (as it is in college, without ruining college football).

They ruined a Super Bowl two years ago with the same rule. It’s harder to feel sorry for the Falcons, perhaps, because they thoroughly choked away a game they were dominating, but it’s still true that we never got to see the Falcons offense touch the ball in OT. It’s good that they have the rule to keep the game

buuuuut...if you’ve changed the rules of football to make scoring a TD absurdly easy (as has been the case all damn season for everybody), it seems like both teams ought to have a crack at scoring a TD.

I’m a Chiefs fan, and I can’t see putting this one on the refs. The lame-ass OT rules? Sure. But I guess both teams played under the lame-ass OT rules.

How in the ever-loving-fuck are you not in the greys?

Realistically, he’s one coin toss away from winning from that game, but you’re right that the narrative is about to get rolling.

Still...it’s always fun to believe it’s possible for a day or two.
