I know what you mean. It's both shocking and disappointing to discover how many people still hang onto that horrible way of thinking.

Understood!

Agreed.

Actually, if this guy was putting on was he wanted to be believed very outspoken about religion especially pornography, then that's when women should say their piece and then get the hell out of a destructive relationship. 2005, Smith settled with another employee over sexual harassmen

Sadly, this is all too true, particularly if the rapist has some upper-class social standing - as if a guy from a wealthy, prestigious family should be given a free pass! Disgusting.

True - the more recent episodes of Law & Order SVU can be lurid and sensationalistic (maybe even a little corny), but I never doubt the sincerity of the writers who are attempting to depict the horror experienced by rape victim-survivors. At least they're addressing this issue in a well-meaning - although sometimes

Very true. While it's true a lot of the Law & Order SVU episodes can be a bit heavy-handed, they do make known the terrible dilemmas faced by rape survivors - and thankfully, these shows are neither condescending nor exploitative. It's so crucial to communicate the horrible suffering experienced by rape

I never paid attention to the Spice Girls, so I don't know what these ladies were like, but I do know that Barbara Bush has a well-known nasty reputation as a mean-spirited, catty sort of person. I remember her totally insensitive remarks about the victims of Hurricane Katrina (August 2005) who'd been relocated to

Yes, I agree! Ewww! It sound so sleazy when someone speaks in that overly-sincere way, with a touch of drama in their tone - as if they have something very special to say! That's how you can tell they're phony; if a person TRIES to act as if they're sincere, then they're not!

True. I try not to let someone's voice affect my impression of them, but some speaking voices really irritate me: the uptalker, where every sentence is phrased like a question; the babytalker (think Marilyn Monroe), and the loudmouth (a loud, abrasive voice that grates on my nerves).

I have a similar situation with my voice. While I wouldn't say I have a whiskey voice, my voice does have a softly sultry quality, and I speak in slow, measured tones; people have told me about this ever since I was a young girl. As a little kid, this made me feel a little uncomfortable (I've always been very shy),

I agree. I always thought this Asperger's thing was bogus - just an excuse for rude, mean-spirited people to continue with their anti-social ways.

I have no idea who these people are, either.

I'm not so sure they were actually having sex; it seemed that he'd just climbed on top of her while she shrank under the covers. But it WOULD be kind of icky if they were filmed while having sex. I've never watched this show, but judging from this segment, these reality shows have really hit rock bottom. I fail to

This. So much. Thank you!

What a crock. You are one sick little creep.

What a crock. I'm a woman, and when the man who attacked me began to rape me, I was definitely not wet. I was terrified, and in my terror, and in my will to survive at all costs, I was fighting back and trying to negotiate.

Agreed. I have watched a few of his YouTube videos - or tried to - since they are so vicious and brutally over the top with his misogynist comments I couldn't watch them in their entirety; his comments made me sick to my stomach. I realize he has only a minor role in his creepy little MRA world, but his spewing of
