I have to agree. A lot of celebrities do this, particularly the ones who haven't done anything really noteworthy in their quest of fame for fame's sake.

True. In fact, in the Deep South (excluding the city of New Orleans), there is still a lot of bigotry against Catholics, Irish and otherwise.
But do you feel any sympathy for this young woman who was so brutally attacked? The author of this article only mentioned her height and weight to illustrate this man's unfair advantage over a much smaller person, pointing him out as the bully he is.
Exactly.
Nonsense.
I agree: very well-said.
Whatever prejudice there was against Irish people, a long time ago (at least here in the U.S.), had to do with religion: as Catholics, Irish immigrants were looked upon with suspicion due to their Catholic faith. Nowadays, this is no longer the case.
Lawd, we all think of us white women.
Hey - I'm just saying that I can empathise with those black women who *do* have difficulties with their hair. So what if you don't have difficulties with managing *your* hair - a lot of other black women do experience difficulties with hair maintenance; as a white lady of English ethnicity with curly/wavy hair, I can…
Very true. Some of these sociopathic killers had fairly decent childhoods, but others had horrifically abusive parents. Unfortunately, there's no way to determine which children from a dysfunctional family will overcome these obstacles, and those who will act out the abuse they suffered at the hands of there parents.
Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I was only a teenager in high school at the time he was arrested for his crimes; like most teenagers, I was very self-absorbed, so I didn't pay much attention to the news reports about him, but later on, I read about his rampages, and it was very frightening. It's really scary to…
In fact, my unkempt hair texture has kept me out of job interviews. We white people also have difficulties regarding employment.
My description of my hair color is accurate. If you don't like this, then that's just too bad, you nitwit.
Definitely! I've been reading true crime books since I was a teenager; these would include books about Mafia crime families and their hit men, serial killers, cult killings, revenge killings...On every trip to bookstores, I head straight to the "True Crime" section.
I'm a white lady of the Anglo-Saxon persuasion, born with very curly/wavy thick hair, which is extremely difficult to work with and maintain; I can definitely empathize with African American ladies regarding difficult hair.
Agreed.
Unfortunately, homicidal and sociopathic behavior in children is not always the result of dysfunctional parents, although a lot of the time this *is* the case. There are some children who seem to be born with sociopathic tendencies. Ted Bundy, one of America's most notorious serial killers, grew up in a chaotic,…
I do understand, and thank you for clarifying.
Got it. To me, your first post sounded a bit hostile towards adults older than you, so thank you for the clarification. And I do understand what you're saying.
Agreed. I've worked for both male and female supervisors, and in my experience, it's a 50/50 split as to which sex makes the better or worse boss. I would say it's the cutthroat culture of the work environment which determines which bosses will be obnoxious.
