Putting up candidates who start from positions of compromise is how the Dems have steadily lost ground on almost every legislative policy battle in DC since the 80s. I can accept compromise, but it needs to come at the end of the fight rather than at the beginning of the campaign.

You are, get this, misrepresenting the article you are linking to, which, in fact, does not show that a majority of Democrats agree with him.
