It wasn’t even Ivanka, it was his mommy.

It is so weird to me when people date people who look like family. There’s an actor who looks like my father and it makes me feel uncomfortable that I think he’s good-looking.
Those are the Proactiv ladies, right? The sulphur mask is legit and you can get it out of a vending machine in the mall, who needs socialization?!
I’m lucky to be a jersey girl. People have jokes, but it’s not a bad place to be. Science-based, culturally sensitive sex-ed is mandated by law (as I just learned from a video posted by another commenter, thanks!). I had a marking period of health class every year, I even got certified in First Aid my sophomore year.
Morality-based policy is nearly always counterproductive.
I’m so grateful for the comprehensive sex-ed I got in high school. I did an oral presentation on literally every type of BC (I got my literature from the local Planned Parenthood) and my friend did her presentation on the different types of abortions, that knowledge has served me very well.
At the very least, Schumer and Pelosi should have been invited.
It feels significant that no Democrats were invited to the state dinner.
They definitely say “I” when “me” is appropriate.
They can pretend that coal is coming back until the cows come home, but it won’t do them a lick of good. A higher minimum wage, accessible healthcare, and the more specific of Hillary’s proposals geared towards them would have, but I guess it’s easier to believe lies than face the fact that they have to change along…
Funny thing is that Hillary had fully fleshed out policy proposals to help them, they just didn’t include the fairytale that coal is coming back.
That tweet has twice as many replies as likes. That’s never good.
I found it cynical and unsettling. Some people have too much money.
My kitchen table is counter-height and I have counter-height chairs, with backs and everything. Well, actually, I have two counter-height chairs and two stools. shrugemoji
It’s only cuz now we’re expected to get good jobs and reflect well on our parents by being high achievers. That’s when they realize that their female progeny will have a tougher time reflecting well on them and it really bums them out, man. (I may be a bit of a cynic....)
Yikes. That’s grim shit.
Honestly? I don’t know. I don’t remember a single one of my math teachers and I only remember my physics teacher for being a creep, so you may be on to something there.
It was funny tho. You’ll see.
On another note, do you remember Kara Brown’s Stay Woke piece from after Ferguson? I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently... WaPo used “woke” in an article and I flashed back to that comment section and the confused white people pontificating about parts of speech and whatnot.
One less STEM field to be discouraged from entering! I think you may be on to something here... ;)
