This really isn't surprising... its like any computer game, you turn up the graphics quality you take a hit on performance, so in order to balance out the bigger load on the video processing needed for 3D they lower the resolution

@wild7s: IE has activex...which is the main security hole... usually javascript just is used to install or call an activex component. Flash though is also a cause but not as bad. Just don't go to unscrupulous sites.

@aec007: I clean way too many computers of viruses, so I have a real handle on how bad IE is...

@aec007: Except the IE8 sucks as a browser...slow javascript... security holes galore... you can do the same with either firefox or chrome (although chrome needs you to exit full screen to change adresses). Any browser is faster than IE8.

@TC-man: nVidia's have a quick way of showing 3D, using the old Red-Blue tinted method that can work on regular LCD's... just isn't as cool looking as the digital 3D.
