I always took feminism at face value: voting rights, more rights, equality - great, right? Had someone asked way back when, I would have had no objection to the label. But little did I know! Once I started informing myself about feminism, I was like: whoah! I do not want to be part of this club. A lot of good points…
For men, sex is love. For women, love is everything around sex. Short version. :]
Please take a long, hard look at some people hiding out under the cozy feminist umbrella. Those people are the exact reason why some women actively reject the label.
I'm only fighting for "method equality" here. Books for landing a husband are no different than books for laying a girl. Thanks for acknowledging that point.
Is that you, photoshop?
" it's horrible that players in Grand Theft Auto can beat up a prostitute."
We don't grind Axe anymore. The feminists have gotten hip to that technique.
Mostly point though.
Cool. I'll put it on the list for our next Brotherhood of Men meeting.
I serve dinner every Sunday down at the local soup kitchen. Still an asshole MRA piece of shit. ;]
Why not just be a better person? Because good guys finish last? ;]
True. With love comes commitment. Guys are ware of that these days. Commitment costs a lot of time and money. You may end up paying 20 years of alimony just for a few lays. Not a great deal. Take a look at how marriare is biased towards women prerogative. Fix that and maybe we can talk.
Some women think it is awful. A lot of men like it a lot. Live and let live.
No, those books treat men like object to be dragged into commitment. Objectification happens on both sides of the divide. Call it equality?
You got me. And I thought I was flying under the radar here...
<<<Honestly, I just don't know what these guys are like, and I'm not sure that for a lot of them, it's not so different than women who read books about how to "get him and keep him.">>>
Thank you for your thoughtful and balanced response! Yesterday was a bit of madhouse, today, we do nuance. Have a great weekend. :]
Well, thanks for the sex, I guess? Much appreciated.
Good and fair post. Much appreciated!
