You realized that it is an upgrade no matter how you look at it. Much like the S4 is an upgrade of the s3 and so forth, it is not superficial. It added more things to it. it condensed the extra stuff that everyone's been crying about and it made additional improvements. It's not superficial. I also did not say I agree…

I'm pretty sure I did not say it was a generational shift. I'm supporting Gunflame's comment that the upgrades are not superficial. Superficial would be a change in looks with no functional changes. The new 3ds had additional functional additions, therefore not superficial.

who knows.. MH3U was pretty well received. One way or another, I'll just have to keep an eye on the MH4 launch date and see if there's a bundle.. if not, i'll just get a new one and within a few months, there has to be people on ebay that will be selling custom made faceplates anyways :-D

If they pop this sucker out in the US, I'm snapping it up.. even if I have to wait a month or 2 extra for it to arrive. it's gonna be so sweet if it actually arrives as a bundle though. I'd trade in my M&L special edition 3ds xl for it..

I think 10 is possibly useable but the point I was trying to make was about having a basic black or white color for people who want to do something with the faceplate would be pretty sweet in my opinion. a blank canvas that's not influenced by a strong color.
