Yes. Mandated ultrasonic testing is completely fooled by graphics. A hairline crack is just that (looks like a hair), if we were relying on visual inspection for fuselage cracks (let alone the other 95% of the plane that is not easily visible) then we'd be looking for a lot more black boxes...

Sorry, most of the CNC's this style only use the Z axis as a tool retract. On the website it appears it is a fully functional Z axis (4" means that with a very stubby 2" tool you just eliminated half of your cutting volume).
