Right... but you only picked up the TouchPads when they hit $99... you weren't fond of them at $499.
— "Building and selling additional Touchpads for now helps build that userbase (now #2 after iPad?) and makes licensing webOS to manufacturers that much more valuable."
WebOS has failed to gain developers since 2009.
HP1: "Ummm... boss? The TouchPads aren't selling at $499"
— "200,000 traditional hard drives? They must have a guy whose only job is to run around replacing failed drives."
Yeah... I'd like to see WebOS live on. But from Palm to HP.... who is next to try?
But whatever you do... do not set the boxes to transparent so your background shows through!
Lol.... I meant... if they made the important announcements... don't you think they're serious?
— "When I describe Google+ to people who have no idea what it is, I usually tell them that it has all the benefits of Facebook, all the benefits of Twitter....."
— "Im sure more and more developers will now start flocking to webos because the tablet is in the hands of hundreds of thousands if not more of new consumers itching to have new apps for their new toy."
Angry Beaver said it best.
HP also announced that they wanted to restructure or completely get rid of their PC business.
True... but 950,000 of them went to price-conscious consumers, who pretty much knew this was the end of the line for WebOS for the time being.
HP also said they wanna restructure their PC business too... either selling it or spinning it off.
Is this still the original order of tablets from manufacturing?
I have 12 real friends on Google+ and I follow 16 other people... Scoble, Trey Ratcliff, etc.
