Anyone else realize that all the Simpson's gags in this are simply playing back to the stuff featured in the 90's when they show was actually good. I'm talking about simply the mention or sight of: Duff Beer, Bart skateboarding, Bart prank-calling Moe, The Aliens(Krong), The inclusion of the Nuclear Plant, crossing

"Fantastic controls, groundbreaking gameplay mechanics, top-notch graphics, endless replay value. But the protagonist is a white male and the supporting cast lacks a sufficient level of diversity. 3/10, would not buy."

A game developer ought to be able to make whatever game they want, without getting lambasted for not being 'diverse' enough. I'm 1000x more concerned about them making the game good. I didn't care that I played a black guy in the walking dead games, or an asian looking girl in Mirrors Edge. If the game is good,

I would prefer to see more games feature customizable characters before they force me to play as a black guy.

So if I went an made a game with a huge diverse cast; gay, bi, lesbian, tran, women, cripples, asians, blacks (but no straight white guys, because god forbid), and made it ten minutes long, it'd be the best thing ever? Because that's what I'm reading here.

For fuck sake, let Aonuma choose the sex of the character. Who give a fuck about it.

Kotaku needs to come off the social rights agenda already — for lack of a better term. Always trying to highlight, if not criticize, any game that isn't pushing forth some kind of progressive sociopolitical undertone (be it feminism or whatever) while ignoring any context where that might just be arbitrary and not

Schreier: So in Skyward Sword, a few years ago, I think that a lot of people loved that game—I enjoyed that game quite a bit—but one of the biggest criticisms or complaints was that it took a very long time to actually jump into the gameplay because there were a lot of tutorials and a lot of introduction and

The lore in Metroid Prime is really what made that game shine (didn't even mean to make that rhyme.. oh man I just can't find the time... to stop :|)

Da email da email, what what, da email!

Now playing

i think AVGN hit the nail on the head with this comment.

Never Forget

seriously? no skyward sword? even though skyward sword controls were not perfect, is the first and only game that uses motion controls in a consistent way ...let's be honest, what defined the last generation were the motion controls, so as sony and microsoft drew their own versions into the battlefield and skyward

Really feel like Skyward Sword should be here. Really classic Zelda which finally demonstrated (alas, too late) how motion control could really add to a 'core' gamer experience if the development team cared enough.

I pity you. I really do.

I tried to embrace 3D Zelda games, purchasing and playing them as they were released. I enjoyed them for a time, but that time was growing shorter and shorter with each successive title, to the point where Skyward Sword is still sitting on my shelf, wrapper intact.

Oh, so you're not buying your PS4 anymore and are donating your 400 bucks to charity? Otherwise, what you do with it isn't benefitting anyone anymore than the person in the video.

Do you say the same thing about Hollywood spending millions to make frivolous entertainment while others starve as well, or do you just sit back on your couch and enjoy?

If you cannot take $500 out of you bank account and spend it on something, you shouldn't be spending it on that something.
You also should have at least 2 months salary in the bank before making large purchases... But hey. Whatever people what to do I guess

This is always the stupidest argument to these sorts of things. Should we send the PS4 to them instead? Im sure they could make GREAT use of it, Timmy can eat the harddrive while Amber and Joe can eat the motherboard! RAM for dessert!
