Democrats, the supposed party of tolerance and inclusivity... keep it classy, Gawker.

I waited until the Wii U had enough games to be a worthwhile purchase before getting one, and then of course I got many more games for it after that, so no disappointment here. If you feel “burned,” well, sorry, but shame on you for buying a product now hoping it will be more to your liking later. That goes for any

I have the later CD based deluxe edition. It has mostly the same text, but as part of the regular guide, not in big, red letters and they don’t call it a warning.

F-Zero GX was great (the only game in the series that I played), but one look at how it sold will tell you why its been relegated to cameos in other games.

Exaggerate much? I just meant maybe give Link something other than arrow / bomb / boomerang in Smash. Give Mario some of his many powerups. Have Ganondorf resemble anything he does in any Zelda game. Etc., etc. Nope, that’s how it was designed in Melee 15 years ago, and that’s what we get forever.

Trolling because you disagree? No, not trolling at all. I even like the game, just venting because I played it for a few hours and it didn’t hold my interest because it felt like the exact same game, again.

New characters, stages, music, and updated graphics are a good thing, agreed. I would just like to see variations on the existing characters, much like we see in the characters’ main game series. Mario, Link, and Samus have such a varied arsenal from game to game, so it just feels very limiting when
Smash keeps them

Please enlighten me then, since I have no idea, what has changed with Link in Brawl vs. Wii U? There is nothing apparent to me in the comparison video and it feels no different at all having played both games. I would honestly like to know. And I mean differences readily noticeable to the millions of people who have

Now playing

The real complaint, at least from the casual players of the game like myself, should be that they’ve released basically the same damn game on three different consoles (I didn’t play the N64 one). I was trying to resist the Wii U one but got sucked into the hype and have barely played it. There is new window dressing,

Good review... this was probably my favorite game on the Gamecube. The trilogy was every bit as good and maybe better in 3D as Super Metroid was in 2D. Would love to see another entry in the series, and I think it’s terrible and misleading that they use the Prime branding on Hunters, Pinball, and Federation Force. But

Glad you mentioned TTYD... that’s the best of all the Mario RPGs. I’d put the SNES game somewhere near the bottom.

This is probably the first gawker article I’ve ever seen that wasn’t put up solely to take a shot at someone on the right.

Probably better than how Splatoon does it in certain cases... you lose ranked points even if you quit after sitting alone in a lobby for five minutes. And by quit, I mean restart the whole system, because that’s the only way out.

I know the extra titles (Super, Ultra, etc.) usually come later, but they should really do that with the first release this time... Street Fighter V: Sucker’s Edition

I remember seeing the NES game in the store when I was younger and it cost more than any other. Looks like nothing has changed.

How about some levels that aren’t Super Mario World?

Good game, but it’s going to sell even less than it did on Wii outside of sales that make it $5.

Sad story, of course... but paid leave? Paid by who? The employer, the taxpayers? For how long... three months, six months, a year? The kid is going to need constant care for years and it will never feel like the right time to let them go to daycare. Should a new parent also get all of their regular vacation and sick

No thanks... have plenty to play on Wii U, 3DS, and PC. You can keep your “modern games” ...was the same last generation, where I actually had a 360 and it got way less use in its lifetime than the Wii or DS. You might think that having big third party games on the other consoles is a big deal... I think it’s a bigger

They shouldn’t have released it in the state they did, but ultimately I blame the consumer for not waiting on reviews and then only dropping $60 on it once the game was fixed. Personally, I have enough of a backlog that I don’t need anything on day one anyway... wind up getting most games cheaper this way too.
