Sad story, of course... but paid leave? Paid by who? The employer, the taxpayers? For how long... three months, six months, a year? The kid is going to need constant care for years and it will never feel like the right time to let them go to daycare. Should a new parent also get all of their regular vacation and sick

No thanks... have plenty to play on Wii U, 3DS, and PC. You can keep your “modern games” ...was the same last generation, where I actually had a 360 and it got way less use in its lifetime than the Wii or DS. You might think that having big third party games on the other consoles is a big deal... I think it’s a bigger

They shouldn’t have released it in the state they did, but ultimately I blame the consumer for not waiting on reviews and then only dropping $60 on it once the game was fixed. Personally, I have enough of a backlog that I don’t need anything on day one anyway... wind up getting most games cheaper this way too.

Wired mice... blech.

Wired mice... blech.

"If you catch one and there's a kid nearby, hand it over" ...hell no. For baseball fans and those who go to a lot of games, catching a foul ball is a rare, cool thing that most will never experience. I'm not giving it up to some slobber monster who will forget about it in five minutes and wonder when he's getting

The hints can be turned off... I did so shortly after starting Prime for the first time because I felt they were ruining part of the game. I love the whole series though and it'd be hard to rank them.

Would be nice to see it on the Wii Virtual Console again where I still have points to spend. Good that you can just buy games outright now and not always have some points left over. Also a shame that the eShop offer is no good, the discount is only on the newest DKC games which I already have.

Why are the reviews so good for this abomination then? Should be a lesson learned to not review games so early.

Ugh.

Good riddance.

Why does Nintendo always do this for items that will obviously sell well? It only benefits the resellers looking to make a profit and ensures that few people who really want it can get it at MSRP.

This idiot is unwatchable... the millions of subscribers tells you the direction the world is going in. James and Mike Mondays only for me!

Easy, neither. Not a damn thing on either console that interests me. I feel like they are geared towards "mature" teenagers... unappealing since I am in my 30s. I have an Xbox 360 (and it got far less use than the Wii), but it will be Nintendo + PC all the way for the foreseeable future.

The PS1 "conquered" the N64? In sales, sure. That's where it begins and ends for me though.

People are flocking to one of the very few new interesting things in this game? No way!

You can treat those other series like movies and put all of the importance on "opening weekend," but with Nintendo's big releases, the numbers won't fall off a cliff after a short while. Not even half of Mario Kart Wii's 30+ million came in the first YEAR.

What does this game have to offer if I kind of enjoyed Melee and Brawl but thought that Brawl was very much same old, same old, and this looks like the same, again?

Should have left it on the ground.

Is someone like Agitha just as powerful as Ganon? Some characters should be better than others, ideally.

Are any of them clone characters? Are any returning characters not just copied and pasted from past games? In the demo, Link and Mario didn't seem any different than Brawl. Smash Bros should be treated completely different than something like Street Fighter. I'd like to see them throw out movesets entirely and put
