Very nice. Say goodbye to the lowsy 3D on the DS. Makes me wish they'd have Okamiden on the 3DS instead though.
Sandy Bridge is just the code name like every other CPU line has. The actual products just continue in the Core i5 and i7 series.
The 360 didn't "literally transport" anything.
That was so awesome I watched the whole thing.
@Mezodon: Ahem... the winter that will begin in December 2011.
Usually Amazon, sometimes Steam or Newegg. Never Best Buy or GameStop.
How do you know the Wii is facing a quiet winter 2011? We're five days into the year and Nintendo doesn't typically give specific release dates this early.
They're all the same. Just as much now as when Kotaku shows the Japanese sales figures, splits up the DS models, and declares something else the "winner." And if we're going to separate DS models, why not people who bought multiple PS2's? Didn't the early ones have a high failure rate?
@YourSaltyPinkDeathNuts: There's tons of other games out there. Last EA or Activision game I bought was Mirror's Edge... for about $5.
Whatever... either this will be stupid and people will be outraged and quit buying it, or, much more likely, the people that continue to gobble this series up year after year for some reason will gladly jump on board.
Ace Attorney Investigations.
Amazing... the game is hard enough to finish at all on this difficulty. I haven't played Quake in a long time, so this brings back some memories. Poor kids today with their Halo and CoD... so lackluster.
How in the heck did you get all of those in person?
I can't remember back far enough to receiving any Atari 5200 or NES items for Christmas, but getting the Genesis was a big deal. Playing Sonic was amazing. In retrospect, the SNES would've been the far better choice though. I didn't get another console for Christmas until the Wii in 2006. The 3DS could be next.
@dowingba: Kinect is something we haven't seen before, so it draws more interest. Move isn't anything new... the Wii has been around since 2006. And from what I've read, you don't know what games are available for it because there aren't that many.
@flanker22: Any bundle with World of Goo is the better bundle.
@WhoKnew?: I have no desire to buy the annual CoD cash grab, and I definitely would never spend $3 per new map. I don't understand the millions that are buying largely the same bland FPS year after year. I'm sure Activision loves you for it though.
The Ace Attorney / Layton game.
That's awesome... can't wait for the new game.
