I don't think MS can use the same advice as Nintendo... put the
@Killer Toilet: Yeah, I liked that game, no way I'm tearing it up. It was quite hard though. I remember getting pretty far into it but never finishing it.
@Orionsaint: Massive sarcasm, of course Wii Sports.
The launch titles feel like tech demos and I don't think it's going to advance much beyond this. With the Wii, developers could find out what was feasible with motion controls and fall back on a variety of other control methods. With Kinect, well, "you are the controller" or bust. You're not going to see a full…
@Orionsaint: Far Cry Vengeance?
@Orionsaint: The first non-controller setup was released today with Kinect. How is that taking over anything?
@jayntampa: You really don't see how the game lineups for Move and Kinect are both very similar to what you've been able to find on the Wii for years? Workout games? Minigame collections? Motion control? "Good when it works" comments in reviews? Etc.?
A time limited demo? That's insane. And no PC demo, where I would be most likely to buy the game... go to hell.
How about you have a lower price level if I don't give a damn about ESPN and CoD?
Cool, T7G is often an overlooked classic. And I remember Landeros and Devine both personally providing me with tech support for 11th Hour (which I never finished because of the anagrams, and walkthroughs weren't so easy to come by back then). I don't think you'll see that out of too many co-founders nowadays.
They might get more sales if they charged $0.80 for one instead of only having five for $4. Lots of people only use one character and would basically be paying $4 for one. Or if you like two characters in different packs, you'd have to pay $8 for two, etc.
I think we can count on the Wii's successor being announced at E3 2011. Hopefully they won't delay Skyward Sword to launch on that console. Just get it released for the Wii then get to work on HD games.
id... no contest.
Rocket Arena for Quake II.
Forget HD, just redo Fable (which I'm playing through for the first time now) to take advantage of the extra memory in the 360 and cut down on the tiny areas and constant load screens.
How'd they manage to move so many? Lots of local multiplayer games, of course.
Eh... only way Apple is hurting anything with their current products is if people decide they'd rather play $5 "games" (more like momentary diversions) than full fledged games.
Sony and their pointless "shipped" numbers. I doubt the move has sold much because really, it's just a blatant Wii cash in and there isn't much out there supporting it yet.
@Nexus6: My thoughts exactly. It needs to be $30. Wii games are typically $10 less anyway and this one happens to be missing a major feature in online play.
