I still see that nothing of value was lost. Kingdoms of Amalur brought absolutely nothing fresh or interesting aesthetically. What I played of it was painfully derivative in story and setting. WRPGs right now are pretty artistically stagnant. They've been leeching off of seventies era fantasy for too long.
