So, real life Lego movie, with Ryan Reynolds? OK. I’m willing to give it a shot.

As someone with three Half-Life CD’s, not including the expansion pack CDs. I can tell you that is EXACTLY how they operate. If no one in the company feels like working on a project, it dies.
See, TF2, DOD, Half-Life 3, just to name a couple of properties that they had that were going gangbusters till the folk working…
Legally speaking knowingly filing a false DMCA claim is perjury. However you have to prove that the person who filed it KNEW they were in the wrong. Even back when mega-corps were using bots to file automated DMCA claims for files NAMED after stuff they claimed to own (i.e. source code files called pacman.c) rather…
I think the point of your story is that he wasn’t.
While I think the most memorable song from the OST was Tears of Karan ( aka Samuel Barber - Adagio for Strings), the entire soundtrack has a special meaning for me. Homeworld is one of the few pre-digital distribution games I actually preserved my CD for because I wanted to rip the music on it so I could always listen…
As someone who was involved in a road rage incident where the person shoved their fist through my rear driver side window, I believe people saying that normal tempered/car window glass would stop that steel ball are mistaken and/or confusing the difference between the glass in a normal car window and the glass in the…

I doubt they were forced to do anything. But I could easily see their game stalling and dying on the vine just as casualty of coming into contact with Valve’s work environment. Count how many teams have joined Valve post-HL that have managed to survive more than a single round of game making with the company.
Don’t give up on VR totally yet. They seem to feel as if they’ve figured out why some people get migraines from VR headsets are and actively working on technologies that remove the issue. It may not be the time for you yet, but soon.
I doubt it was the second.
Double Star by Robert A. Heinlein?
Given Valve went all in on the VR experience, I would imagine they expect far more than 5% of their Steam base to eventually be able to play this.
The TLDR; summary of the article.
I don’t know about McD gift cards in general but I’ve refilled other gift cards before at my local grocery store. I’ve only done it once and I’m not sure if that was a specific thing that only that store did, but if this became a ‘thing’ I could easily see it being done by places other than the exact restaurant you…
