Every defendant has the right to a fair trial. A fair trial means a lot of things, an impartial jury and judge, the ability for the defense to present and cross examine evidence and witnesses, and etc.

There’s harsh and demanding and there is crossing the line into showing bias and obstruction of justice. Not saying where this judge fell, but IMO they were at the very least, straddling the line.
