No, that's untrue. For most things, Wikipedia is the best source out there - this has been proven many times, comparisons with 'real' encyclopedias a.s.o... Here in Sweden, it's common where newspapers use Wikipedia as source, it's come that far. :)

It was unclear in Wikipedia to what extent the jet engine based version was used/tested, maybe that's covered more thoroughly in your book. :)

There's actually never been a real jetpack. As in a jet engine based pack.. There's been a lot of different rocketpacks though. And the water-based JetLev is still the coolest.
