The military's health care system - it's like that evil socialized medicine that some people are so afraid of.

I came here to say the exact same thing. I hear so many people bitch and moan about Tricare, but in nearly five years, I've had only one minor complaint (and the was technically about a lousy doctor, not the insurance). Hell, I feel spoiled by it after spending most of the last decade completely uninsured. After

That kill doesn't happen until ASoS, right? I'm hoping they leave in that scene when the time comes - there are others who get offed then, so maybe she'll just get a new victim (Polliver, perhaps?).

This! I realize that Gloria and Ramona are technically both lovely, but when I hear the names I automatically think of my elderly aunt Gloria and perpetually 8 year old Ramona. I can't for the life of me see a grown up Ramona.

"Beware when you next go to the zoo because behind those adorable eyes may lurk the mind of a killer," is the best closing line ever.

Ack, losing the silver for no reason killed me (I guess her horse budget got cut so there would be more CGI dragon money). Rakharo was rough, but she has other blood riders, and the abandoned city was just kind of a time suck that the show doesn't have room for. She only had one awesome wedding present from Drogo

Quaithe's look is definitely all wrong. I try not to be too nitpicky about the show, but I was mad about the lack of a lacquered wooden mask.

MINI SPOILERS

I was shocked! They wasted the perfect opportunity for gratuitous nudity, as the Qartheen style dresses are supposed to leave one breast exposed. After all of the extra boobs we've seen, you'd think they'd leave book boobs in.

I was never a Girl Scout because deep down I knew that the experience would never live up to the high expectations this movie gave me. It's pretty much the best movie ever. Definitely pulling out the DVD tonight!

No, ma'am, you were not alone! That seemed to always happen to me, and those same few outcomes were either falling to your death, being lost back in time/in the future in horrid conditions, or, at the very least, getting into terrible trouble. I don't recall ever having a happy ending, even when I'd try to cheat.

You definitely aren't alone.

No place is crazier than BJU! As I child in small town Virginia, I was forced to attend an evangelical church at least thrice weekly. I recall our pastor frequently mentioning how terrible and liberal Liberty University was, and my mom fervently wished that I would grow up to attend Bob Jones University. Our pastor

I have a 7x great grandfather named Nimrod! Are there actually still people with that name?

I feel exactly the same way. I just changed my residency 4 months ago. While my new state just legalized gay marriage, my old state does this. My vote would be doing far more good in Virginia.

I totally feel your pain. I haven't really liked Mariah since 7th grade (aka 15ish years ago). But, OMG, dembabies are effing adorable.

RE: #1

I was quite into ancestry-related research for a while. My great-aunt died when I was 7 or 8, and I went with my grandma to clean out her house (it took an entire summer). I found my great-aunt's journals, which were meticulous in recording family history and births, and where she was when she learned that WWI ended.

I hear that. I'm 28 and I've only had one truly awesome NYE. Most of the others (tonight included) have been regular nights that seem way worse than the average regular night, due to the NYE hype.

That is delightful. I am seriously jealous of you.
