Much of the BBS stuff I see people talk about are just various MUDlibs adapted to the BBS system. Believe it or not there are people that arn’t aware that the internet has been a thing since the 70s :P

They were supposed to be releasing the server setup for AC a while back. I don’t know what happened to that but I was looking forward to either trying to run one myself or at the least playing on someone elses.
I started playing this back in beta. Picked up the game day 1 and hopped onto Darktide and had someone that had been leveling all day come and try to kill me and my friends. He quickly found out that level didnt matter much and that body blocking was a thing, we took his pants.
Thankfully Dragon’s Lair was popular enough to survive until a time when it could be reproduced. Digital Leisure has that, Space Ace and Dragons Lair 2 I think, and for the few dozen other LD games out there you can get an emulator called Daphne!
This needs a PC release.
The twist is they all died decades ago and have to re-live the show and their deaths over and over.
Back in the days of Everquest a player decided to test this. He made new characters of each race and gender and went begging with them in towns.
Did they really remove flight from the game?
The problem with NMS is that the planets don’t feel like planets, they feel like random worlds generated from templates (which is what they are of course) and leads to the entire universe feeling the same with no real surprises waiting for you around the next corner.
Fantastic. She should forget about being fem-Geralt and just be a unique female Witcher. I’d sure as hell play a game with her as the main character.
Then we would get a ton of “What could have been” posts about all the things a developer wanted to do before release but never got the chance.
“First off all, they have every right to do this”
So basically it IS turned off and only through something like the listed temporary buff are you in a situation where it actually applies.
In case you didn’t know a tamper sticker is a do nothing consumer scare device. It has no legal validity and hasn’t for a very long time.
Complete bullshit. As long as the server setup they have put together is all original code then Blizzard has NO case. Unfortunately the law only works on the side of the people with money.
Fuck this ship.
Every puzzle game, every single one, has a puzzle that someone somewhere thinks is total utter bullshit.
Or you could, you know, not spend 30$ on 5$ worth of content.

I really should re-watch this one of these days. It really is one of the best time travel stories I’ve seen.
I enjoyed Assassins Creed 3, but it was nowhere near what the three games in the Ezio arc were. They were just amazing.
