Man, he plays up the sweet-dork bit, but Ben Folds is a D-O-G. He reminds me of a terrible ex.

In his new-millennium “Call for Unity” remake, Santora said that King brought all races and religions together for peaceful protests and the civil rights cause for which ultimately, Santora notes, King “gave his life.”

The flag fetishism is such bullshit. But also, doesn’t worshiping idols go against Catholic theology? This reverend is full of shit in more ways than one.

The one sure way to truly disrespect the flag—and what it representsis to force people stand for it no matter what, and punish them when they don’t.

Because we are the fire. They are just smoke and light.

Volunteer with his campaign!  I didn't for the primaries because I just lost focus.  I'm going to be volunteering on his campaign starting this week though - they can always use more help!

On MSNBC, they said he won the Panhandle, Tampa, Broward County and Miami-Dade, which makes me think his campaign had really good strategy in campaiging in big cities or with college kids.

More of this, please!

Hopefully neoliberal, establishment Democrats will get the fucking message sometime fucking soon.

The pendulum always swings back. This is the time to get real progressives into office.

As a Floridian and a gillum voter, I am surprised and FUCKING ECSTATIC

The distressed damsel trick doesn’t work if the damsel doesn’t wait for someone to answer the door. The report is she went to a series of homes, not just this one, and didn’t wait for any of them.

This. We all need to do this. Every single one of us probably knows someone who doesn’t vote but thinks Trump is a dumbass and an embarrassment. Go get that person registered to vote and hound their ass when early voting opens.

There are 3 Beto signs in my neighborhood, when there were two Trump signs in 2016. I am SO PUMPED.

The campaign needs to institute a “go vote with a friend/s” movement. No matter how many people may like him, the only way Beto is going to get elected is if his supporters actually go vote, which historically, they don’t.

If you want some anecdotal evidence - both me and my parents live in Collin County - McKinney and Plano respectively (upper/middle class suburbs of Dallas often described as a Republican stronghold), and we’ve seen at least one Beto for Senate yard signs in my neighborhood and at least 3 my parent’s.

I’m actually

YESSSSS! I live in Texas and every time I see a yard sign while driving, my husband and I yell, “BETO!” It’s extremely invigorating and makes us hopeful for the future.

Your real name is Robert! Beto is a nickname!

At some point the naysaying becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. I hope you are doing something affirmative (volunteering, donating) rather than lament about how the fight looks hard. Hard fights are worth fighting. People said similar things about Doug Jones and Conor Lamb.

As the widow of a drug addict, yes.
