I have dixlexia and thought you wrote “aggressive, hardliner ORIFICE”....which is more accurate. Just sayin’!

As someone from Southern California, I’m also incredibly unsurprised.
Someone died, but yeah, the real tragedy is someone was mean to the flag.
It was a reckless stunt.
The San Bernardino DA office/county is notoriously vile so good luck getting them to give a shit. It is one of a strain of aggressive, hardliner offices.
Civility for me... but not for thee.
note: i certainly understand that those with disabilities may need plastic straws, and i think that restaurants, etc., should have some on standby for those individuals. even reducing the number of plastic straws is a good start!
But our sudden preoccupation with plastics straws and ocean waste has me thinking: Wait, HUH?? What is happening?
“We’re not racist”
“We’re a slightly older couple. We have a white couple in their eighties next to us. If we feel it’s going to be more of an issue to go over trying to talk to somebody, for our safety, we just call the police.”
It’s called the chameleon effect and people do it to empathize and relate to one another. People usually do it subconsciously.
Meghan Markle’s sister, Samantha, had an absolute meltdown on Twitter yesterday, after this story came out. She seems to have really lost touch with reality and become completely unhinged. She’s such a nasty, vile woman. I can only imagine how horrible she was to Meghan when she was a child. She’s probably livid that…
I am only exposed to Brits 40 hours a week and it is incredibly hard to resist some of it rubbing off, *especially* the “DID you?”/“IS it?”/“IS she?”/“IS he?” chirpy auto-response. I can only imagine what it’s like for MM being aroumd them, and only them, 24/7. Give the girl a break!
I use the singular they all the time for both myself and in general writing. It’s not as confusing as people make it out to be. It’s no more confusing than having a piece of writing with more than one man or woman.
Unfortunately, Twitter don’t give a fuck.
How the fuck is this banned on Twitter but fucking Trump can incite violence against journalists and generally trash-talk anyone critical of him?
I read somewhere that most* law enforcement agents are actually less likely to racially profile than most civilians. The idea was that we all have unconscious bias (which is true) but when the police are actually well-trained and get to know their communities they are less likely to make the judgement calls based on…
But would you let them on??? The whole thing, is she let me on to keep me there to call the cops. Also that is why the cop was so confused.. he was like “if you allowed her to enter your yard, there is nothing wrong here”
It’s easy to deny your racism, when there are so few people of color to call you out on it.
