Mine was the same age, and I was just a few years older, but my sister was still in HS. The take care of yourself part is so important. It’s so easy to feel consumed by all the negativity and pressure to make each moment count, but one of the best times from that period was when my sister and I just drove to this old

Aquaphor

Aquaphor for the win, in my opinion.

I’ve lived here 33 years and have never gotten to do anything that cool.

Thank you for expressing this so eloquently and introducing me to a new term. Perfect sentiment for the start of a new year too!

Yeah, I would agree that a lighter touch and going over the same area multiple times is kinda key. I have also found over time that either I got better at it or my legs got less sensitive. I do remember some nicks at first, but you start to understand the angle and pressure. I cannot recommend mine more!

I also said this elsewhere, but I use anything I feel like to shave with mine with no ill effects. I use whatever blades I have lying around (got a sample pack with the razor) and they seem to make no difference to me at all. Start with the razor and they might throw in a few blade samples to get you started. If you

Was coming here to say the same thing! So much cheaper, more effective, and no plastic to throw away. And I feel like it doesn’t matter if I use soap, conditioner, lady shave gel, or even Barbasol. Very few ingrowns if ever, and works well on all the other non-leg areas too.

I’m wearing glasses and I still thought that.

That word you keep using, I don’t think it means what you think it means.

Thank you, this is very helpful! I’m glad it’s making you feel better too :)

How long did it take for you to see benefits? What prompted you to start it, if I may ask? I’ve been considering it but I keep having these stretches of times where I know it won’t be easy to do (upcoming vaca, holidays) and I keep letting myself put it off. How strict with it are you? Thanks for being a resource!

No but I am hoping it spurs more of these around the country! Also a huge fan of the ugly food movement. I try to buy the uglier, likely-to-be-tossed tomatoes and bananas because I hate to think about 99% fine fruit and veg rotting in dumpsters when I can just cut off the bruised bit.

I just tried on a different dress that literally—from fit to color—had to have been a hospital gown in a former life. Even came with a tie to close it up.

Hear, hear

Annnnnd I also have an aunt named Agnes. Also my grandmother.

Also had a great-aunt Dolly! She used to hand down books to me...mostly the ones preteens had no business reading. Dolly liked the saucy romance novels best, it seems.

Someone took my wallet out of my purse and it was on my lap, ugh. Can never be too careful!
