Considering THQ is in dire straits right now, as much as it sucks, safe and fast money is the best thing to do. If this was Activision or EA, it be a completely different story. One game that bombs in sales isn't got to kill them so long as they have Madden/NCAA/FIFA or Call of Duty to work with. THQ however, one

So the question becomes, is there life on Mars?

And hopefully Ubisoft is big enough now at least in the West to help Nintendo out. Sega had a lot of heavyweight support from Capcom but it wasn't enough.

EA actually left Sega high and dry when it came to the Dreamcast, publishing a grand total of zero titles for the console in it's 3 year lifespan. EA's abandonment of the Dreamcast was one of top reasons it failed.

Except Valve allows other developers to integrate Steamworks into their games Steamworks isn't exclusive to Valve, and they really don't compete with anyone, especially considering most of their games are single player, and there large multiplayer titles are F2P (TF2, Counter-Strike Go, DOTA 2), or are really unique

There was that one incident where Activision sued EA to stop the release of Brutal Legend back in 2009. Rooted for EA in that one.

This is kind of how the timeline works out:

From my (limited) experience with PS3 controllers, it's fully possible to have them autosync to a new console without issue by just plugging them into the console you want them to sync to by using USB cable. Every time I've done a PS3 controller sync is that way.

What in the hell are you talking about? Just about every program I have run on Windows 7 I have run perfectly on Windows 8.

Rana McAnear doesn't play Samara or Morinth in the Mass Effect series. She's just the face model for both of the characters. The actress who actually plays Samara is Maggie Baird while Natalia Cigliuti plays Morinth.

I don't find DLC as a "fuck you" to the consumer. I see it as a way to extend a game I love for a longer period of time. If I enjoy a game, I want more of it, and DLC handles that. Sure sometimes the DLC is crap and pointless (like, for example, most of the DLC in SoulCalibur V), but good DLC I got no problems

Kittens. The secret ingredient to make almost anything adorable.

Sure, there will be people like you who decide to wait. There will also be people who decide to just not buy any of the DLC as well. I mean, god knows there will be people who will buy it used or even just not buy it at all. But the majority of people won't. The majority of people will buy it new and will buy the

Not really. Right now the publisher as well as the console manufactures and the ESRB are going through the game to make sure it's safe for release, which can take awhile. After that, they then have to actually print the disc and create the cases and inserts for the game, not to mention all the limited edition stuff.

The game is done and in certification. So now that it's finished, instead of laying off a large portion of the Borderlands team while they wait to see if they get approval for a third game or move them to another game, they move them to make DLC so they get to keep their jobs. If they waited until they finished all

You're confusing Tony Hawk with Jet Set Radio Future. Completely different types of games.

It didn't. There were 3 songs from Rock Band 1 that didn't transfer to 2 (covers of Paranoid, Run to the Hills and Enter Sandman, although the real version of Run to the Hills was later released as DLC). As well, when Rock Band 3 was released, Black Hole Sun and Dani California also didn't transfer. However they

Most of the songs from Rock Band 1 and 2 (as well as the entirety of Lego Rock Band, Green Day Rock Band, AC/DC Live and all the other track packs) were exportable into Rock Band 3. Those songs, as well as all the other DLC will work with Blitz. The only games that don't work with Blitz as of right now is The

Having Give It Away and Spoonman back makes this even better. Add this to Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom), Shine and Cult of Personality, plus the gameplay and the fact that it all works in RB3, Harmonix can take my money.
