In regards to making videos he doesn’t want to make, he comes off incredibly entitled. No one anywhere ever can always do something they want to be doing at all times, least of all when doing it for money.

Nice reply, except that all art tells a story, even if it’s a bad story, the best art tells a great story and I rather think this one isn’t bad. You’re absolutely right in your assessment that there isn’t much room for diversity if you’re holding more strictly to the inspiration (neither HP nor Nordic mythology are

Just have to point out that the mech art looks pretty much right out of Pacific Rim. Then again, I did like Pacific Rim, so it’s not a bad thing.

Teenage girls?

The problem was she was an “internet friend.” Not knocking it, I have many, but they’re ultimately superficial. You bond in a different way (perhaps not true “bonding”), it’s all generally over superficial stuff, no actual shared experiences. That’s the key thing, you need those shared experiences in physical space

I like the U.S. SNES better myself. It’s not a great design, but the other looks more toy-ish to me. I mean, it *is* a toy, but even so.

I wish more people were this reasonable.

It’s good, but I still actually prefer turn based combat :\ I understand other people might like real time combat, but it’s harder and harder to find turn based combat. Plus, I *know* Square can make a good turn based combat game *and* that it can be successful, Bravely Default proved that.

Not really. I still have my PS2 and a copy of the original game. The game is still rock solid, but even I have to admit the graphics make me cringe. I also have the frustration of knowing a large number of younger generations who won’t even try it because of the graphics.

I don’t buy the premise that there’s no need for a straight 1:1 HD remake. a) why are they doing it with others then when HD graphics are hardly much better (and are worse as actual games than VII)? You know, except for it being easy to do, but my point is that people are buying those already and they don’t look that

the head being at a right angle is killing it for me. The detail is all nice and creepy, but that’s such an old-time-y way to just sit a head on an upright neck that looks patently artificial.

I don’t get how they can claim it’s added content if it was available upon release. That means that they had the time and resources to include the content from the start, that’s not additional. I like DLC when it’s done right, when it’s like Dragon Age Awakening, almost another whole game expanding the original (in

What I find more mind blowing is that Hitmonchan isn’t wearing any clothes either, he just has big huge meaty hands and a flap of blue skin hanging down from his waist.

ehhh, the international one could really fit in with all those other posters you posted. When you realize the whale is taking the place of the character, it mimics the composition and symbolism almost identically. It just kind of has more activity and color going on around it.

It seems counterproductive for the companies to me. Especially in the cases of simple early leaks. When Kotaku starts posting about a game a lot, that’s generally when I get interested, even if it’s criticism, it makes me want to see how accurate the criticism is. I can’t imagine I’m hardly alone in this position. I

This feels like old news, Final Fantasy 8 and 9 as well as Xenosaga all incorporated a pseudo-card game and I’m pretty sure there was a Pokemon CCG game in its own right on the Gameboy. They might be getting *better* at it, but they’re not really breaking new ground.

Weirder still, back when the Expanded Universe was “canon,” there was a ship bigger and badder than the Death Star ... The Sun Destroyer ... forgetting that “the Sun” is actually a smaller to middle class star, which would make the name functionally as impressive as an average Star Destroyer.

How very Battle Beasts ... would be cool if they couldm ake a comeback.

You know a great way to lose someone’s attention? Bring up America’s fine tradition of “Free Speech” as a defense for preaching negativity.

You’re joking with this one, right? Please tell me you’re joking. There have been so many sleek, stylishly attractive systems and you’re including this tacky lump of brown? I think you’re letting your nostalgia beat out the actual purpose of this list.
