I wish they would release an aircraft mount that will actually work. I cannot use suction cups. When you change altitude, the pressure inside the suction cup changes too. Result - mount falling off. Used a 1-cup mount inside the aircraft, and descend from 2000 feet to 800 feet - camera is on the floor.

Reading FAIL on my part. DOH. Needed more coffee.

Doh, yea, reading fail. Off I go to grab more coffee.

uhh.. in alternate universe, maybe. In this one, Obama had about 1.2 million more votes than Mittens.

Planes have fixed wings. Helicopter's "wings" rotate. Air pressure matters for both helicopters and planes. And using wind to your advantage works the same way for rotorcraft, I assume.

Skydiving conducted from about 9000 feet or more, doesn't it? One of my friends is a skydiving instructor. But at 2000', wind is more stable than down at street level. The lowest Winds Aloft you can get is at 3000 feet.

Haha thanks!

Yep, same one from PoA, and your shot was higher than one in the article. I did fly through Class B at one point, at 1500 feet. I had one of my passengers take this photo, so excuse the quality, but this is what it would look like from 1500.

Massive balls to jump into a helicopter? Don't think so.

Thank you, good sir!

Your anger sustains me. Please, keep going.

iOS is a great OS, if you really don't care about your device. You want to tap on one app, read the news, and maybe play a game, sure. If you want to do any real work and not dick around, Android beats it hands down.

I am sorry to break it to you, but I believe your diagnosis is malfunctioning sarcasm detector-itis. There's no cure and it's terminal.

And now Apple can sue anything that floats because "they did it first, by innovating and leading the world's shipping"

Up to you to care or not.

It was corrected. Before edit, it said "when plant's four reactors failed". So, how about you relax with calling other people fucking morons and asses? FYI, I've been in Chernobyl, and I was born in Kiev, 60 miles away. So I guess I have a bit more authority on this than you.

Only reactor #4 failed in Chernobyl, not "4 reactors failed." Get it right.

This thing been around for AGES. And now is quite simple to remove. They typically sit in AppData\Roaming folder, and attach themselves to .EXE shell in registry. So instead of running the EXE, it runs the malware with exe as a parameter. Result? Message saying something like "notepad.exe is infected"

I am not an airline pilot, but a pilot. To be honest, last thing I want is another stupid thing to wear. I already have a headset, a kneeboard, shades. And there's more stuff to manage. Checklists, maps, and so on. So these goggles can go kiss my ass.

Being a private pilot as well, I think it's not as bad as you make it out to be. Clearly, this guy been on a plane few times. So, probably his girlfriend.
