Children as pets/toys is bad thinking. There's nothing noble or cool about naming your children after video game characters. It just shows you up as an idiot.

My personal feeling is that you need to leave the kid an out. Ideally, give them a crazy middle name. If they want to use it, that's their prerogative. If you must give them the crazy name as a first name, at least give them a reliable middle name.

Here I am working my ass off and barely making it in terms of money... and these guys get paid MORE to sit on their ass and play video games.
