This will change nothing. Casuals want the .99 touch based games for when they are on the go and the core gaming crowd wants games that are much more in depth than a mobile game. This will serve a niche crowd.

Because it's not required, by Sony, to have DRM and make it difficult. It's like this on the PC now, some developers make it annoying and wrap their games up tightly with protection, but most don't make it difficult at all.
I think the difference is the XBone has it BUILT IN and publishers have to use that. Whereas the PS4 has nothing out of the box and it's up to publishers to figure out how to handle used games.
