Ok, Matt, you need to send the Jalopnik staff to math school, umkay? I know typos seem to be common with blogs now, but we should have a higher standard. 1,000/60,000 = 1/60th. Yesterday we had 500lbs of pot weighing 1/2 of a ton.

That's weird, you would have thought an essentially decade old car would have done better....

Your answer is incomplete. Historically, steam engines were powered by coal and before that wood. At times these fuels burned inefficiently and the smoke stacks would throw burning embers. I'm a historian and have read a variety of stories about brush fires caused by railroad locomotives during the 1830s and 1840s.

Looking at the story we have, Sounds a lot like Taylor got a bee in his bonnet and started every 'step-up.' From my POV, Pullum's final action was protecting his family. Granted, stupid all-round, but at this point I have more sympathy for Pullum and his family than Taylor.

Now playing

1st Gear - As gearheads, the idea of big walking tanks is awesome. Therefore, the fact that MechWarrior Online (free to play) was officially launced this week is germane to all of us. Go forth and kill in big stompy mechs of awesomeness. That is all.

Grew up in Pittsburgh, but live in Fairfield county CT now. Was in the city JUST last night and took that route. I'll take that triboro mess over the Ft. Pitt ANY day.

PEOPLE! PEOPLE! Can't we all just agree that the Pittsburgh roadway system was designed by blind and drunk monkeys hoped up on uppers and shocked randomly into a bad attitude who were then handed a pencil, and the result was THEN implemented by even dumber monkeys who could only see the drawing through a waterfall?

I drive both of these, every day. Yes, apparently I'm a sadist. While both are quite bad, Squirrel Hill doesn't feel like you're risking your vehicle and sanity the same way you are on Fort Pitt. Design-wise I'd say Squirrel Hill is worse due to the fact that there is enough room where they could have done it much

2.) Pittsburg

how did this not even place. Can there really be anything worse than this thing.

The URL for this page got cut off perfectly.

What bugs me is that while the EPA tests are accurate (my civic and flex get their posted numbers), the rule that allows Ford (or anybody) to share numbers between models with identical powertrains is pretty stupid, particularly when body styles are completely different.

WARNING I am going to get political:

I saw a 458 driving down the street the other day with a fire truck right behind it. My friends were very confused by my random bout of uncontrollable laughter.

Here is the streetfire link. Comment to keep this on the top
