If baseball's not the greatest game ever, then why did, arguably, the greatest basketball player of all-time leave his sport, in his prime, to go play baseball?
...and sad sacks plagiarize mediocre Rob Delaney tweets in search of likes.
This is his way of reminding his girlfriend that the last time the Cubs won the World Series, surviving members of the Donner Party were actually still alive.
This team can't even get bath salts right.
Marshall, ima let you finish, but Erin had one of the best videos of all time.
Have you ever tried to ride someone and fondle their balls at the same time? Its a bit much to ask when you are already busy.
Ooh... hiccup.
I think the argument that would be made - and I think it's a compelling one - is that it's about character. Obviously the front is going to be about respecting academics etc etc but we all know that's bullshit. But if you're looking at a kid as a potential twenty million dollar investment you're going to be looking at…
Isn't the combine basically an NFL job fair? When I was in college, I went to a university-sponsored job fair. It was open to students only. I have no problem with this whatsoever.
Student athletes being asked to pretend to be students. I don't really see the problem. Even if you don't have the official combine you can still workout at your teams pro day, or the East/West game, the Senior Bowl etc. Not going to combine isn't a death knell for a prospect.
I don't see how this is bad, it seems more like any other job process out there. It's not preventing them from playing in the NFL but it probably keeps most of them out of the first few rounds of the draft. College grades matter in most other professional fields so I just can't get worked up about this. If they…
Not sure why this is a shitty move. Maybe I've just become old and jaded but it makes sense to me. I think something needs to be done in college basketball as well. There are kids who don't attend any class in the spring semester, the coaches look the other way as they still play through the end of March and fail that…
The world we live in where flunking out of school could inhibit your employment potential. Absurd.
Of course the jerseys won't end up on the backs of Burundian children. They already have too much Patriots gear.
RGIII better be careful. One absent-minded sip of Pepsi, and he'll have to go on injured reserve.
That's his wife, then? Call me a traditionalist, a stick-in-the-mud, or even someone who's "against progress," but I see this sort of thing, and... I mean... that's just not right. I mean, it's kind of tough to look at, really. And to a certain segment of the population, it might even seem... disrespectful, a real…
I imagine it's pretty hard to make a wrathy Jezebel come.
Good luck, Bubby. She doesn't put out.
Not the first time a guy named Bubby has made a shitty-ass pass.
