The problem is Bill Nye was paid by Coca Cola to make the commercial. It adds an inherent bias to everything he says from this point forward. He’s only going to say what Coca Cola wants him to say.

I watched part of the show for the first time in many years and was pleasantly surprised at the number and quality of performances.  That’s what I want to see in a music awards show, just like people complained about the lack of movie clips in the 2021 Oscar broadcast.  We’re watching for a reason.

Right? The snide comment about Jon Batiste’s album is bullshit as well - it’s a fantastic album that I’ve listened to over and over, and millions of other people have as well. Rich appears to think that the Grammys should be catered to his specific taste, which is just weird.
