It helped that Beale was a former Blackbird base. Also at that show was an F117, a B2 flyby, and U2 demo. It was like a Skunkworks showcase.

One did a supersonic fly-over at high altitude for the Beale AFB open house in 98. The twin booms was pretty cool. It passed out over the ocean, turned around, and landed. The popping of the skin as it cooled was pretty loud.

Looking at the airport on Google Earth, I see quite a few derelict aircraft and what appears to be one heck of a fuel spill to the north of the runway. Also to the west down the flightline are the Global Hawks at Lat 11°32'41.70"N long 43° 8'54.44"E

Oh, it was a big thing. The big rig in pickup form was so cool. They sold alot of them just on that nose. A friend of mine's day bought him one for his 16th. Unfortunately, like all Mopar vehicles from that era, it was a pile.

I was working out in North Vegas last week and it was hard not running out into the parking lot every time I heard em. also, the F-22s were out alot.

I watched the the Sizzler MicroJet crash at the Chico Air Show in '92. Went straight in during a trick landing. Really sucked cause the pilot was talking to the crowd right before.

Oh, I meant the Lincoln LS. Not bloated at all.

Imagine if they gave the LS the attention and updates it deserved.

I'd like to point out that the color on that Boss is Calypso Coral. I'm not a fan of bright color meself but in my opinion it's the best color on a '70 Boss.

On the other end of the spectrum, the only problem I've had with mine was the fuel pump which was easy to replace cause the tank is under the back seat.
