Ive driven the Kia and sat in the Hyundai. The interior quality is night and day. The Kia interior feels very hard and plastic. The Hyundai still has some hard plastic but it is mostly below the armrest areas. The leather quality in the Kia isnt even close.
This is the correct take. A period correct Vance & Hines or Bassani is the way this should be.
Carmax has 2 right now.
Plus it has the carbs mounted to the side of the cylinders.
I guess the Ariel Square Four isn’t quite as weird since it doesn’t have the bendy connecting rods.
I would be surprised if the dark on bottom design gets used. The lighter colors used on the bottom are there to help it blend in with the sky. That big dark blob in his new airplane would stick out like a sore thumb against a daytime sky.
This car has an 8 year unlimited miles battery warranty. That, plus the history of similar batteries in things like the Prius should provide some assurance. You can also take a look at the cars Tesloop has. They have a model S with damn near 500k on it and a model X with around 400k on its original battery.
I see a boat tail Riviera, an early Barracuda, a Corvair, and an MG.
When they are “off” the HV battery is disconnected by what is essentially a big relay. All the electronics run off a conventional 12v battery in the frunk. It will occasionally cycle to use the HV battery to charge the 12v one.
It looks a lot like Supersonic Blue which is the color that makes me drool.
That is exactly the color I am looking for!
My worries start with the driver side seat airbag which looks to have popped. Hail dents are so common here in DFW that no one pays them any mind.
The distinction between big block and small block has nothing to do with displacement. It refers to the size of the physical cylinder block. There was a 400 cid small block and a 396 cid big block. You can still buy brand new versions of both big and small blocks from the OEMs so I don’t think it’s quite ancient…
If you are referring to the LS7 from the C6 Corvette Z06 and Camero Z28, it is an LS based small block. The LS7 from the late 60’s was a big block.

Whatever else you do, don’t let anyone convince you to try sweet paan. I love India and Indian food and this was one of the most evil things I have ever put in my mouth. It felt like I chewed for 15 min and it never got any smaller. Add to this that, to me, it tastes like dish soap smells. It still causes a shiver…
My ‘65 Falcon only has one dash indicator. It really not that weird.
The hardware will be the small part. The electric service upgrades will be more onerous.
Since 95dB is 32 times as loud as 80 dB I’m pretty sure anyone with functional ears will be able to tell the difference. That being said, I dont have any confidence that the cops are going to bust out a copy of the SAE paper and a sound level meter to check.
