Well considering the path they tried with Final Fantasy IV The After Years, i'd be more surprised if they didn't do this.

@Wizard: I don't want to end up writing fan fiction....but i'm just imagining the reveal scene where someone pulls off his mask-he needs to be recognizable. Having it be a (somewhat) minor patient from the sequel just doesn't have that same kick factor.

@Wizard: We don't even know if it's in the same universe as Trauma Center. While there are certain benefits to ditching certain (PLAYED OUT) plot elements like GUILT, building up a continuity around a series and then ditching it is never a great idea. Like Persona-all of the games are connected, but only if you play

A namesless, convicted surgeon? Who is so good that they make him operate on people?

Maybe I missed something, but didn't Ubisoft publish Myst on the DS a few years ago? And it got ripped a new one? The screenshots Storm City has look... exactly the same as that other one.

Never before has 1-1 looked less flattering in terms of design.

"How do you expect me to play my 3DO with this, Nicolas?"

@jeeves22: It's worked for me three times. I love it, it's just so ridiculous that something like cooking the Xbox to make the solder re-flow onto the bus works as the generally accepted solution to a hardware error.

Always, the towel trick for the Xbox's RROD tops my list of clever fixes.

Video Game

@Kdawg: Yes-they announced two new Mario games, and a new Zelda-but if they had made a big deal out of this announcement I seriously think they could have taken the show. There is nothing more screaming of "appealing to the core" than an Earthbound anthology.

I tried to make a parachute to jump off of my couch for years as a kid-even the best designs of shopping bags and board game boxes did nothing to slow my 3 foot descent.

That trailer is awesome in the fact that it's showing that Battlefield as a game medium is *crazy as hell.*

Ah, that's too bad. Tabula Rasa wasn't terrible, heck, i'd even venture to say it wasn't that bad, but it never really found it's audience. Being shut down so soon after launch is never good. But hey-At least it lasted longer than Hellgate London.

Someone sent me a steam phishing page with the promise of voice work in a new source film group. I was angry enough when I noticed it wasn't real that I asked a friend of mine to set up a macro to enter this fake account info.

Some of the missions in HAWX relate to missions in GRAW 2 don't they? I could have sworn I heard something about this beforehand.

Tribes 2? Oh there's an entire community out there just raging right now.

I *own* this controller, though the one pictured in the link is wireless, and the one I have is wired. $7.50 at Wal-Mart FTW.

Hrm. There are certain ways an Invincible game could work. (I love throwing around gameplay ideas for fake games.) Though it'd have to be much much different from things like Superman Returns. I'm thinking a massive-absolutely just disgustingly huge open world environment, because I mean Invincible can fly REALLY
