I loved the PSP games but that PS4 game has absolutely nothing on them. It’s a messy 3v3 2 minutes affair all the time, instead of amazing epic duels. No gear at all, no real progression, no crazy story mode... It’s a fighting game with nothing but fights, which is very very limited compared to what the two first

You can’t begrudge people that.”

Most people balance their buying decisions for games between the price, quality and how immediately they want to play it.

*sigh* Now I want to marathon Slayers on a secondary monitor while I continue to drive myself crazy learning Unity...

No dude, make her an echo fighter of Bowser proper. Yeah, everyone would lose their shit.

That’s not entirely fair. Some of us enjoy the concept of the character, regardless of breast size. I suspect that demographic has a lot of crossover with people who preferred the Misfits to the Holograms.

There have been many incidents there regarding tourists, but it isn’t a sole reason. The buildings are growing old, there was a fire there in 2017, the place is too dirty to keep going, there are some infrastructure interests with a highway build for the Olympics that would benefit the market, plus some other stuff.

“I have some quibbles with Rowling’s world building—how does magic work, exactly?”

I’m gonna say that’s probably a lot less true than you may think, but there is a good chance these are among the FIRST books they read, and that can be an even bigger distinction.

You’re right. There’s never been any time in history when people have read books and have had those books impact their lives in any significant way.  That’s why they’re not an integral part of the education system.

Once, years ago, I actually had a student slice my tires after I had them read Swift’s “Modest Proposal,” because they literally thought I wanted them to eat babies.

There is very, very little accounting for education in criticism anymore. I know how much of an asshole that makes me sound, but I don’t much care; every

If Dumbledore’s sexuality was important to understanding him as a character, why wasn’t that explicit in the books?

I get what you’re saying, but after going through reforms a few years ago the Seattle PD are generally better than most police departments in the country. They were one of the first PDs to embrace body cameras and they have a black female police chief. The Seattle police definitely aren’t perfect, but if any PD can

For people of color in this country, yes, that is that is the case.

As to the former point, if I were a streamer with any kind of following (or even if not) in Seattle, I’d immediately record myself. If you’re streaming, you’re at risk in this modern environment.

It’s a start.

Some of them do. It’s a job that attracts bullies and people who crave power, and at the same time actively excludes people who are too smart or think too much.

Yes, but let’s not immediately shit on what seems like a pretty decent idea that might actually save lives.  For once.

It’s not. But who do you punish, and how? The corp is dead, out of money.
