One of Boruto’s main plotlines is dealing with how technology is changing the world and potentially rendering ninjas less relevant.

Well, it’s not like this trend comes out of nowhere.

See I was of the opposite opinion. Sans the first “season” leading up to original Greed, I thought FMA Brotherhood had better pacing. Granted the Briggs section WAS pretty slow, however I found the final 12 or so episodes made up for that.

Brotherhood is fantastic :) IMO, much better than the original anime. Though I always have a hard time picking what language I should listen to: I like Ed and Al’s English voice actors (and Major Armstrong’s), but beyond that everyone else’s Japanese voice actors are better.

I’ll allow for a possibility of a benevolent and omnipotent deity- but I always find it odd that such a deity is always described as doing incredibly petty shit and testing people to see if they’re loyal like the mean girl in a middle school click. Doesn’t sound like a loving savior to me.

I kind of want progressive churches to start reaching to people like her, because some people really do crave the community and spirituality of religion, but it doesn’t mean they have to go into some evangelical bullshit church. I wish we could charge our local anti-choicers/anti-gay zealots with something, even something as trivial as “being a public nuisance.” As it is, courts have pretty much interpreted the right to freedom of speech as “the right to harass and intimidate as long as it stops short of actual battery.”

In a more accepting climate, the rates of violence against queer people decreases. Whoever has the loudest voice will change the climate.

The current president - clearly the loudest voice in America right now -supports and encourages less acceptance of queer people.
