yes, it is, and he is always a gentleman.

at conventions I’ve seen him he was a pleasant man to talk to — and an panels, he was as sarcastic as they get.

when he is not drunk — but even when he is drunk he is a gentleman.

only what I can infer from the interviews — both his and the snowrunner’s. and based on that — not really much.

he had no creative control — at least, not in the contracts.

Now playing

I know enough. he said as much in his interviews over the years. it has nothing to do with historical accuracy. why can Disney send its specialists to Hawaii to work with local musicians for Moana’s soundtrack — but Netflix hires a Russian (of all people) to write a score for the series culturally bases in a different

I care enough to write about it

my issue was not as much with gratuitous sex but with turning girls into batteries for no good reason and a hysterectomy that hurt less than a face change.

I would be happier if Russia withdrew its troops from my country -- and a shitty adaptation of my beloved books is not that crucial for my happiness, thank you.

people who read books are irritating, aren’t we.

Eastern Europe. heard of it? _that_ region. with rich musical history. the region Sapek relied on culturally when developing his works.

she said herself — she picks a detail out of a story and builds a story of her own. if these stories were half as good as Sapek’s, I would just watch it, happy as a clam.

is it possible to just lock her and the writers in a room with the actual books for, like, a month? so that they finally READ them and try to figure out why the stories worked? and maybe dial down on unnecessary misogyny and address the war crimes actually described in the books? and bring back the lowbrow humor of

group of his ancestors -- you mean, his descendants?

I read my first Witcher story in 1989. I read all the books — and some more than once.

the bard’s songs were pretty much the only things ok about the series’ soundtrack. everything else was either jarring and / or having nothing in common with the musical tradition of the region the Continent is culturally based.

so, Russia kills Syrians in droves, invades its neighbours, starting the third world war -- and you would still watch their stale stupid movies? at least Leni Riffenstahl was talented.

I have the same question.
