the problem is that legalization of prostitution (not its decriminalization) does lead to growing human trafficking. majority of women in prostitution are, in fact, coerced into it. so yes, those pro-legalization do support all these things even if they don't mean to. if you are unable or unwilling to familiarize

and how are you honest saying that an equal number of feminists fight for legalization?

well, it is either women's rights or legalization of prostitution.

well. my arguments are pretty simple. women get into prostitution because of men's demand fueled by pornography and because of the governments' negligence to women's rights. this is an oversimplification but we have to start somewhere. the same rhetoric we see here in the comments was used to explain slavery and a lot

get your terminology straight. pedophile is a person who finds adolescents sexually desirable. men who have sex with children do it not because they like it but because they can.

easily. I am an atheist and a left Ukrainian nationalist. and a woman.

any other arguments?

the key here is not capitalism. the key here is men being dicks.

I am not pro-criminalizing prostitution (which is not sex work. because it is not work.) I am pro-criminalization of clients.

nope. should I?

right. then prostitution in Norway is not legal, it is decriminalized.

I don't think you have read one tenth of the research on prostitution I've read. I doubt you have ever bothered to.

so, for you child prostitution is perfectly cool? sweet.

I was telling you how it works in reality , that's all.

I just wish it worked you think it does, but it doesn't.

sex is not a service. men who go to prostitutes are there not for sex per se, they are there for control and for dehumanizing another human being. and if someone is having sex with you only not to starve — it is nothing less than economic coercion.

well, let me tell you one weird fact — it is the age of women forced into prostitution IN THE COUNTRIES WHERE PROSTITUTION IS LEGAL. the problem with prostitution is that being as lucrative as it is for pimps (but never for women in it) you cannot eliminate the black market. and 'johns' will pretty quickly get bored
