It's a lot bigger than what "damn hippies" implies, which is close-in Portland. It completely ignores the entirety of East Portland which is, indeed, pretty sprawling compared to downtown & close-in SE and NE PDX.

I mean, Oregon is a huge state. Are you an Oregonian? What you're saying is true of very particular parts of the state, and more specifically, of very particular communities within those areas. To act like all of Oregon is full of the caricature you're describing here is absurd.

Just as a heads up, Portland is a huge area (with a large metro area) and is really not at all dominated by hippies. Yuppies, maybe, but hippies—no.

Um, what? Bull Run water is fucking delicious.

Is that a question we really need to ask? The answer is of course they do.

I don't understand these at all. The upper halves of the dresses are just hideous, and look like cheap costumes to me. The Star Wars prints don't help.

Pshh, she's one to talk! Look at that risqué camisole!

I try to tell everyone I can about it, and that it really its own viewing experience. Von Trier's later stuff may not be everyone's cup of tea, but he is most certainly a talented filmmaker if only for that miniseries.

This!! I mentioned it in a different thread, but in ~2002 I read an epic (in length and complexity) and very well-written fanfic which, among other things, featured Draco and his various romantic relationships with the main female characters (tbh I cannot remember which one he ends up with).

I just wanted to say that I love everything about this.

You can watch them both! I love Hannibal, and agree it seems under-viewed. But I like The Following, too. James Purefoy is such a good actor, and I think he's great in it.

This behavior seems really predatory to me. I echo the other commenters—definitely report him. He should not be working with anyone who is vulnerable or at-risk.

...at least her hair is totally on trend for the red carpet?!

That Summer's Eve lady is straight-up frightening.

This made me laugh more than it should.

Just throw in "organic", "farm-to-table" and "hand-picked" and the burger sells itself!

Draco's undeveloped character is the greatest crime of HP.

Yeah, I loved the musical sequences and I thought Björk was brilliant. The ending was just unbearable, though.

Agreed—this Dirt Bag is delightful.

This is a really insightful albeit depressing comment.
