I believe the fallout from saying such a thing would've been FAR worse than what they're dealing with now. Though this isn't good for them either.

I think that alot of non-gamers take gaming as its lowest common denominator. To her im sitting in a chair in front of our t.v. pushing buttons for afew hours a day(which I mean, really I AM) but gaming is so much more than that.

I asked my wife if she would've dated me if she knew I was a gamer and she said probably not. It just annoys me the negative stigma we get, but I bet if I binge watched the jersey shore id be "ok"
