I mostly agree with you friend but I kinda liked 10. The linearity withstanding. Still though 8 WAS abysmal garbage.

yeah seriously I've played that game all the way through like 5 times (doing so again on my vita) the game was pretty awful from both a story standpoint as well as a battle system standpoint. The characters were just annoying (especially squall) I liked damn there every OTHER ff BUT that one.

im not sure why you believe that. Nintendo would still be Nintendo whether they did hardware or not. Those same bubbly games you love would be MORE vibrant on more powerful hardware.

yeah, the timed exclusives from last gen were pretty ridiculous. Im not a super cod fan but especially with those map packs. They threw around alot of money to try and keep their lead.

don't mention xenogears you'll make me sad. Still one of my favorite games. But it was clear that the second disk was a fiasco. They pulled the budget for it and put those resources on ff8 (mediocre)

mmm I would put mario sunshine and mario galaxy in the same vein whereas kart is an offshoot. Not saying they didn't change anything between sunshine and galaxy, just that kart isn't a platformer.

the only thing innovative about the wii-u is how long it takes developers to show anything worthwhile and original on it. That wonderful gamepad STILL hasn't been utilized. Mk8 uses it as a horn.

I have some great games on my ps4 that ALSO on Xbox. ..ok cool.that doesn't diminish the worth of the games I do have sonce someone else can enjoy them. Id so much sooner…

I thimk you misunderstood. I think even he felt that cod was the same over and over he's just saying he feels its odd that people throw a fit about it but won't complain about Nintendo games which too have a very "same-y" feel to them.
