I almost garuntee most if not all of those issues will be alleviated post launch, a console is fluid, they evolve, and this will too.

Calling him an idiot is a bit much, Yes ALL corporations exist to profit, but between the three of them, the measures taken by Microsoft have been MOST heavyhanded, Nintendo the LEAST heavyhanded and Sony falling somewhere reasonably in the middle given what they offer vs the cost to consumers.

While that may very well be the case(and I agree with you that it IS) I've always found Microsofts approach to be the MOST offensive of the big 3, they literally nickel and dime you for the most simple of things, that's the reason I chose to avoid them.

My ps3 is the literal center of my entertainment center, when I'm on it, I'm playing games, when I'm not my wife is playing Netflix, she has no interest in games but we are both enjoying the existence of the ps3 within our household. This may be the case for many others as well, why wouldn't you want to watch Netflix

All thats left is for Nintendo to return fire by copying Sony by making a home console people are actually EXCITED about, then the circle will be COMPLETE.

I Only played brawl "in-store" But I LOVED melee, I know some people didnt feel the same, I never gave it enough time to figure out why. I'd like to figure out what the big difference was.

With all the posts about women being shoved down our throats, I think they've tried hard enough for THE BOTH OF US. *AmIrite*?

Yeah THIS article and like every three articles every other day.

Oh you!

Mmm...let me guess, next week...you know what would make the PLAYSTATION 4 100% more awesome?.... WOMEN! *brought to you by kotaku *

I just hated that disappointed look customers would get when I'd have to explain to them why THEIR version of a game wasn't the same as the kind on ps3/60.

Pretty much THIS, I mean how much shit can you take from one company before you decide their not worth your time, I don't feel like Nintendo is worth the faith that people KEEP putting in them. There are PLENTY of other games, handhelds withstanding Nintendo hardware hasn't been worth it's cost of admission since

Mmm...Yup

The Wii had the media and simplicity on it's side. THE MOMENT I saw the Wii u specs /controller I was like. NOPE, not so much for me but for that market that they had done so well to capture before, they threw that simplicity out the door by mating a tablet with a regular controller, it just looks THREATENING to the

I agree, the backroom at our store had SO MANY used wii's that corporate told us to stop accepting them, they became as prevalent and as useless as the rockband /guitar hero accessories.

Holy shit, they made it to three months? Around here, everyone I knew gamed hard for like 6-1/2weeks STRAIGHT on their wiis... and then NEVER AGAIN.

I partially agree with you, Yes the wii u has some of the same games going forward, but they look the same...as they do on ps3/360. I'm no fool, I get that graphics aren't everything, but you be surprised how many regular consumers (non gamers) equate graphics DIRECTLY with the quality of the game.

That is literally the only reason I'd ever own a wii.

I partially agree with you, I TOO think it's foolish to cut off that revenue stream, the Wii likely costs them next to nothing to produce at this point. And it sold better then the system they WANT to move. I probably would've kept it, but on the other hand product confusion does exist, they need to differentiate

The deciding factor for whether or not you'll get a next Gen system is if it comes with a piece of paper.... REALLY?
