I'm sorry but fuck all this "storybook ending" bullshit. I'm pretty sure a storybook ending for the guy would be his team making it to the playoffs rather than getting a hit in a game where they were mathematically eliminated.
Yeah, it suggests that the writer maybe has a personal ax to grind with Romo given that it wasn't really pertinent to the story.
Why is this info neglected from the original story? I think it is pertinent, though I side with the reporter in this situation.
