I have to read it again, but I recall this site writing a long piece about how the MLS seems to be operating like a ponzi scheme. Moves like this make me believe that even more.

I still don’t get how the MLS is OK with a potential move to Austin. The league isn’t big or mature enough to start putting up teams inside other teams’ markets. And to leave a market like Ohio absolutely empty? Bananas.
