Much as I am enjoying the dogpile on the ps5 right now, most console stands screw in to the console in some way. Or they have some slotting mechanism like the xbox one x. Given how heavy this thing is going to be, that would take some effort.

Because the Xbox is not boring, it is minimalist. And the design allows it not compromise on power, while remaining cool and not being the size of a small house. There’s your function.

The design is bad, but that’s not the worst part. I mean, the ps2slim wasn’t an attractive console. It was just a black rectangle roughly the size of a dvd case. Aesthetics didn’t matter when it blended into the background.
